Anne Shanahan BSc (Hons) MSc
Brief Profile:
Graduated with BSc (Hons) in Chemistry in 1996 and then with an MSc (by research) in Environmental Chemistry from University of Wales, Bangor in 1998. Thesis title: 'Characterisation of Simazine Degradation, Transport and Movement in Agricultural Soils'
Subsequently worked as a Research Technician for the University of Wales, Bangor before moving into the automotive rubber extrusion industry in the West Midlands. Then went on to work for the MOD at the Faslane Naval Base in Scotland as a Radiochemist /Certified Confined Space Competent Analyst before moving to Quintiles Scotland as a Mass Spectrometry Scientist for two years.
